Concept Plan for a New Sunshine Coast Parkway Made with Xara Web Designer Website Design by Frances Proctor OK.........here's a map of the "Route 201" Plan as we call it........a proposed route of the second highway based on what we know about the highway layout of the 1990's.  It's only a discussion proposal that would have to be properly planned out, engineered, etc, etc. The final highway may not even look like this, but we would promote use of the area around the power lines as a logical placement of the highway in order to limit extra c lear-cutting. This plan calls for a 4-lane road, from Gibsons to Sechelt, to be built as soon as possible in order to plan for steady growth on the Coast.  The time is now to begin planning and building this highway instead of waiting another 20 plus years when congestion will be beyond frustration and costs will be prohibitive. The planning for tomorrow should begin today.
